My favorite part about the internet is everybody’s ability to make just about anything funny. But do we ever stop to think about those people in the funny little pictures and gifs? Like, how they might have whole lives besides those quick moments? Here’s what the subjects of some of your favorite memes are up to and look like these days. Remember the popular memes like ‘side-eyeing Chloe’ and ‘bad luck, Brian?’ Well, now they’re all grown-up. From hysterical to awkward, the expressions these ‘celebrities’ made are forever immortalized in the best memes on the internet, but now so are theirs before and after transformations. Most of these memes have gotten better over time. Even though years have passed, their funny faces from the best memes are still relevant.

Scumbag Steve is actually named Blake, and this picture at his grandma’s house made a legendary meme. Nowadays, Blake is especially active on Twitter and hardly looks like the scumbag he used to be. This image was posted on Reddit in January 2011. A young man in the photo is identified as Blake Boston, also known as “Weezy B.”

According to his Instagram, Zeddie is still out there running marathons and looking good while he does it.

When asked about the interest behind the meme, Little replied: “I don’t really know, but I kinda feel honored to be part of a joke that’s in good spirit because sometimes the Internet can be malicious.
